'OKYEAME KWAME DAY' TO BE OBSERVED IN THE U.S EVERY NOVEMBER 7
Ghanaian rapper Kwame Nsiah Apau who is known in showbiz circles as Okyeame Kwame has been given the Key to the City of Cincinnati in Ohio state in the United States of America.
It was presented to the 'Halellujah' hit maker by Mayor John Cranley in the city on Monday,November 21.
The ceremony organized by the Black Nurses Association of Cincinnati in partnership with the Ghanaian community in Cincinnati allows the artist to organize events, run cultural exchange programs among other things in the country.
Okyeame's enviable honour does not come as a surprise to many following his love for cultural promotion and almost a decade advocacy of hepatitis B awareness creation in Ghana and in some parts of the world.
Meanwhile,the city of Cincinnati Shall Observe 17th of Every November as Okyeame Kwame Day in honour of the Ghanaian entrepreneur cum musician.
Elated Okyeame Kwame is expected in Ghana by close of today and would later present the key to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Okyeame Kwame graduated with a masters degree in Marketing Strategy from the University of Ghana -Legon, last weekend.
