Miss Ghana makes Top 20 @ Miss World … but Puerto Rico wins
Ghana’s representative at this year’s Miss World Antoinette Delali Kemavor made it to the Top 20 of the beauty pageant but lost out on the ultimate crown.
Miss Kemavor went past the various stages and landed in the graceful Top 20, which eventually saw Miss Puerto Rico emerge out of the lot as winner.
Stephanie Del Valle, 19, and a brown-eyed beauty, won on a night that saw a global television audience watch on as the stages went by. First runner up was won by the Dominican Republic’s Miguelina Reyes Ramirez while Indonesia’s Natasha Manuela came in at third place.
This year’s event was held at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States and was the 66th edition.
Ghana’s best record at the world event was attained by Miss Ghana 2012 Naa Okailey Shooter who won the third position at the world stage.
